Jamaican Castor Oil: For The Bush Brow Lovers

I guess you could call this my first ever beauty inspired post on here, but this is something that i feel I not only want to share but must share with you all. Basically, this is a short sweet and informative post of how this little miracle pot of Jamaican Castor Oil ultimately, saved my brows.

If you havent already heard of brow lamination, (then perhaps you have been living under a rock- ahem) then it is the new ‘IT’ trend for brows. Essentially, straightening and fixing the hairs upwards to create the ultimate fluffy brow look. I had mine done a few months back and I honestly loved it- I raved about it all over Instagram, I shouted about it from the rooftops and I pretty much told everybody they should try it out. I mean- they looked INCRED TBF.

I’m not sure if what happened to me was due to my particular brow hairs or the treatment itself, but after having them done- my hairs began to fall out, and snap- daily. YIKES. I had noticeable gaps in my brows and every time I brushed them, I would lose one or two hairs. I had thick brows before, but they were now becoming a resemblance of my 90s pencil brows in high school!

I tried a few things at the beginning, like- regular castor oil/ Long 4 Lashes (but on my brows) and just pencilling over the cracks in any attempt to get them back to their thickness. Although I could see an improvement in growth, I was still left with the gaps. (Sorry for the bad pic but I didn’t quite have my selfie game ON at the time!)

Enter- the MAGIC POT OF GOLD FOUND ONLY AT THE END OF THE RAINBOWS (and Amazon)- JAMAICAN CASTOR OIL.

I applied this godsent oil every night before I went to bed and massaged it in to my brows and especially where the gaps were for about 10 minutes, and repeated this daily for approximately three weeks.

And I can officially state I’m now back to my thick, bush brow and I could not be happier, hence me wanting to rave about it to you right now! If it works wonders like this on the brows i’m sure this can help with general hair loss itself too.

Get yourselves to the end of the Rainbow (Amazon) for your little magic pot of gold (linked below), and please let me know how you get on with it too!

Over and out

Jess xx
