It's time.

Just sat in the hairdressers- getting my hair ‘did’. I finally find a decent one and then I go and move away.
I see a pattern emerging here.
Anyway. Today is the night I shall be seeing all of my friends for the last time. I can’t tell you how sad I feel. Obviously it is mixed with a great big dollop of happiness and stirred with excitement for what lies ahead. But it’s the bloody goodbyes. They were never going to be easy were they.
Why can’t the world just be full of “Hello’s” instead?!
I’m not going to lie to you. I have had some restless nights the past few days. If it hadn’t sunk in before, it really has now. Your friends become your family- and just as important to you. And my friends (albeit rather dysfunctional family at times I will admit!) really do mean the world to me.
I found this on the Internet today whilst looking for some words to say to my friends tonight- and if I can sum up saying goodbye it would be like this;
“Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments- or a lifetime, is certain for those who are friends”
Roll on tonight
X
